What this amendment would do
SA 4042, submitted by Mr. REED, is an amendment to bill H.R. 4016. This bill makes appropriations for the Department of Defense for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2026, and for other purposes.
The purpose of this amendment is to:
- Permanently rescind $40,000,000 from the amounts made available under section 86001 of Public Law 119-21 (an Act to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of H. Con. Res. 14, approved July 4, 2025).
