What this amendment would do
SA 4028, submitted by Mrs. Shaheen, is an amendment intended to be proposed to amendment SA 3951 and bill H.R. 4016.
The purpose of this amendment is to add a section to title I of division B that requires the Secretary of Commerce to obligate funds for grants awarded by the Administrator of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration in a timely manner.
This obligation of funds must follow the historical timelines used by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
