What this amendment would do

SA 4020, submitted by Mrs. Shaheen, aims to add a prohibition on how certain funds are used within the bill.

The purpose of this amendment is to ensure that no funds from this Act or any other Act are used for the following:

  • To implement section 4(c) of Secretarial Order 3442, issued by the Secretary of the Interior on September 4, 2025, regarding Land and Water Conservation Fund Implementation.

  • To develop or implement any order from the Secretary of the Interior that limits how federal land management agencies use money allocated from the Land and Water Conservation Fund.
