What this amendment would do
This amendment, submitted by Mr. Sanders to bill H.R. 3838, aims to protect the American workforce through the following changes:
-
Nullification of Executive Orders: It removes the force and effect of Executive Order 14251 and Executive Order 14343, both of which relate to exclusions from Federal labor-management relations programs. It also prohibits the use of Federal funds to carry out these orders.
-
Collective Bargaining Agreements: It ensures that any collective bargaining agreement between a Federal executive branch agency and a labor organization that is an exclusive representative of Federal employees, if in effect as of March 26, 2025, remains in full force and effect for the duration of the agreement's term.
