What this amendment would do
MR. WELCH submitted amendment SA 356 to the concurrent resolution S. Con. Res. 7 for the fiscal year 2025 congressional budget. What it aims to change or add:
- It adds a new section at the end of title III of the budget resolution.
- It allows the Chairman of the Committee on the Budget of the Senate to revise committee allocations, aggregates, and other appropriate levels.
- It allows adjustments to the pay-as-you-go ledger for legislation relating to prohibiting the reduction or elimination of funding for programs that support substance use disorder treatment.
