S.Amdt. 350

Mr. Welch submitted SA 350, which is an amendment intended for the concurrent resolution on the budget for the United States Government for fiscal year 2025 and levels for fiscal years 2026 through 2034.

The purpose of this amendment is to add a deficit-neutral reserve fund relating to prohibiting the reduction or elimination of funding for low-volume hospitals at the end of title III.

It aims to allow the Chairman of the Committee on the Budget of the Senate to revise committee allocations, aggregates, and other appropriate levels. It also allows the Chairman to make adjustments to the pay-as-you-go ledger for legislation relating to prohibiting the reduction or elimination of funding for low-volume hospitals, as long as that legislation does not increase the deficit over the total period of fiscal years 2025 through 2034.
