What this amendment would do

MR. KING submitted SA 347, which is an amendment intended to be proposed to the concurrent resolution S. Con. Res. 7.

The purpose of this amendment is to add a deficit-neutral reserve fund relating to falls prevention to the end of title III.

It aims to allow the Chairman of the Committee on the Budget of the Senate to revise committee allocations, aggregates, and other appropriate levels, and make adjustments to the pay-as-you-go ledger.

These changes are for legislation relating to requiring coverage of certain fall prevention services under the Medicare program.

The amendment specifies that this can only happen if the legislation does not increase the deficit over the total of fiscal years 2025 through 2034.
