S.Amdt. 335

Mr. King submitted amendment SA 335 to the concurrent resolution S. Con. Res. 7, which sets the congressional budget for the United States Government for fiscal year 2025 and the appropriate budgetary levels for fiscal years 2026 through 2034.

The purpose of this amendment is to add a deficit-neutral reserve fund relating to the industrial base at the end of title III.

It aims to allow the Chairman of the Committee on the Budget of the Senate to revise committee allocations, aggregates, and other appropriate levels, and to make adjustments to the pay-as-you-go ledger.

These changes are for one or more bills, joint resolutions, amendments, amendments between the Houses, motions, or conference reports relating to the industrial base, which may include Department of Defense directed energy weapons.

The amendment specifies that this can only happen by the amounts provided in such legislation for those purposes, provided that the legislation does not increase the deficit over the total period of fiscal years 2025 through 2034.
