What this amendment would do
SA 2998, submitted by Mr. Blumenthal, aims to expand the VetSuccess On Campus program.
The amendment proposes to add the following to the bill:
- An increase of $15,000,000 to the amount appropriated under the heading "readjustment benefits".
- The use of these funds to hire VetSuccess On Campus program counselors.
- Priority for hiring will be given to schools in States that currently have no counselors in the program.
