What this amendment would do
SA 2892, submitted by Mrs. Shaheen, is an amendment to amendment SA 2853 for bill H.R. 4.
The purpose of this amendment is to change the amount of funds being rescinded in section 2(b)(12) from $2,500,000,000 to $2,480,000,000.
Additionally, it adds a requirement that at least $20,000,000 of the remaining unobligated funds be made available for programs that combat child marriage.
