What this amendment would do

SA 2879, submitted by Ms. Rosen, is an amendment to amendment SA 2853 (proposed by Mr. Thune for Mr. Schmitt) regarding bill H.R. 4.

The purpose of this amendment is to make the following changes:

Change the amount in section 2(b)(5) from $500,000,000 to $300,000,000.
Add a provision to section 2(b)(5) stating that none of the funds rescinded in that paragraph shall come from the unobligated balances for Global Health Security.
