What this amendment would do

SA 2868, submitted by Ms. Rosen, aims to change specific parts of amendment SA 2853 to bill H.R. 4.

The amendment proposes the following changes:

In section 2(b)(12), it changes the amount from $2,500,000,000 to 2,437,000,000.
In section 2(b)(12), it adds a provision that none of the rescinded funds shall come from unobligated balances for programs in the Near East.
In section 2(b)(9), it adds a provision that none of the rescinded funds shall come from unobligated balances for programs in the Near East.
