What this amendment would do

Permitted payment stablecoin issuers and payment stablecoin custodians must get private insurance.
This insurance must cover the costs of hacks, other operational failures, and consumer reimbursement.
The manner and amount of the insurance will be prescribed by the appropriate State payment stablecoin regulator or primary Federal payment stablecoin regulator.
