Mr. Reed submitted amendment SA 2256 to the bill S. 1582, which relates to the regulation of payment stablecoins.

The amendment allows primary Federal payment stablecoin regulators and State payment stablecoin regulators to set additional prudential standards for payment stablecoin issuers.

These additional standards can include enhanced public disclosures, as determined appropriate by the regulators in their discretion.
