What this amendment would do

Mr. Reed submitted amendment SA 142 to the concurrent resolution on the budget for fiscal year 2025. The purpose of this amendment is to add a reserve fund related to strengthening local shipyard capability and capacity.

What It Aims to Change or Add

  • It allows the Chairman of the Committee on the Budget of the Senate to revise committee allocations, aggregates, and other appropriate levels in the resolution.
