What this amendment would do
-
Mr. Sullivan submitted amendment SA 1221 to be proposed to the concurrent resolution on the budget for the United States Government for fiscal year 2025.
-
The amendment aims to add a deficit-neutral reserve fund at the end of title III.
-
This fund relates to protecting access to in vitro fertilization and reducing out-of-pocket and health plan costs for in vitro fertilization.
What It Changes or Adds
-
It allows the Chairman of the Committee on the Budget of the Senate to revise committee allocations, aggregates, and other appropriate levels in the resolution.
-
It allows the Chairman to make adjustments to the pay-as-you-go ledger for legislation relating to protecting access to in vitro fertilization and reducing out-of-pocket and health plan costs for in vitro fertilization.
-
These revisions and adjustments are allowed by the amounts provided in such legislation, as long as the legislation does not increase the deficit over the total period of fiscal years 2025 through 2029 or the total period of fiscal years 2025 through 2034.
