What this amendment would do

This amendment was put forward by Ms. Warren, along with Ms. Smith and Mr. Booker. Its main purpose is to set up a deficit-neutral reserve fund.

What It Aims to Change

  • It allows the Chairman of the Senate Committee on the Budget to change budget levels and allocations for future legislation.
